LaTrice Hughes
Managing Member | Community Advocate | Educator | Entrepreneur
LaTrice Hughes is a community leader, educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building thriving communities. As the founder of Gift of Discernment LLC, she is committed to helping people discover opportunities through education, workforce development, leadership training, business consulting, and community partnerships.
For more than two decades, LaTrice has been an advocate for children, veterans, and underserved communities, with a special focus on expanding educational, economic, and leadership opportunities within the African American community. She believes lasting change begins by investing in people and creating pathways to success for future generations.
Throughout her career, LaTrice has participated in numerous civic, community, and public service initiatives. Her volunteer and advocacy experience has included political organizing with Organizing for America (OFA), involvement with the NAACP, the ACLU, Criminon, Youth for Human Rights, and the ICPC Federal Police Chaplaincy. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to public service, civic engagement, human rights, criminal justice awareness, and community empowerment.
Her work today focuses on helping nonprofit organizations, small businesses, youth, veterans, and community leaders access the resources, training, and support needed to create sustainable success. Whether mentoring young adults, assisting veterans with employment and benefits, developing grant proposals, or supporting entrepreneurs, LaTrice is passionate about helping others turn vision into action.
Her leadership is guided by faith, integrity, service, and the belief that every individual has the potential to make a meaningful impact. She strives to leave every person, organization, and community stronger than she found them.
